Notes

  • A load current sensor is required when using a UQM motor driver without CAN

  • A VCU (Vehicle Control Unit) is required when using the CAN bus
    • This is because the VCU needs to interpret data from the pedals, the BMS and the motor controller, and generate a message to the motor controller to controll it
  • A load current sensor is required when using the CAN bus
