Password Menu
Menu on setting and entering a password in the BMS.
Password menu (click on a menu item to go to a description of that item):
A password may be required to program and test the BMS controller:
- If no password is set, you may freely change all the settings
- If a password is set, but you have not entered it, none of your chahges will take effect
- If a password is set, and you have entered it, you may freely change all the settings
Notes:
- Regardless, you will be able to look at all the settings
- By default, the password is not set.
- The password also affects the ability to force output lines
To log-in:
- From the home menu, press 5 for "Password", 1 for "Enter pasword"
- Type in the password: a number between 1 and 65535
- Press the "Enter" key
To set a password for the 1st time:
- From the home menu, press 5 for "Password", 2 for "Set pasword"
- Type in the password: a number between 1 and 65535
- Press the "Enter" key
To change the password:
- Log in (see above)
- From the home menu, press 5 for "Password", 2 for "Set password"
- Type in the new password: a number between 1 and 65535
- Press the "Enter" key
To remove the password:
- Log in (see above)
- From the home menu, press 5 for "Password", 2 for "Set password"
- Type in "0" for the new password
- Press the "Enter" key
If you lost the password, you will have to get Tech Support to repair the BMS controller.
